This cake was for my mother and father in law's 50th wedding anniversary. The bottom tier was my mother in law's favorite: chocolate cake with milk chocolate frosting. The middle tier was vanilla buttermilk cake with salted caramel French buttercream, and the top tier was red velvet cake with raspberry cream cheese frosting.
All three tiers were covered in a shiny chocolate ganache glaze, then decorated with ribbon, lace, and sculpted gumpaste flowers.
