Chocolate Orange Wedding Cake


This fondant covered wedding cake has a double tall middle tier, with hand painted gold details and sculpted fantasy flowers. Inside, the cake is chocolate orange, flavored with orange zest and pure orange oil, with cream cheese frosting between layers. 


Sculpting the flowers is one of my favorite parts. Each petal is individually cut, shaped, and attached together with hand formed and painted centers, and then left to dry for 24-48 hours. 

Chocolate Toffee Wedding Cake


I loved making this wedding cake, based off a single tier design I did in the past. Each tier had alternating layers of vanilla and chocolate cake, filled with vanilla French buttercream with homemade toffee bits folded in. Outside, the cake is frosted with chocolate French buttercream, two tiers frosted smooth and the other two with a piped ruffle design. Edible silver dragées, hand sculpted blossoms and ombré ruffle flowers complete the cake.
